I wanted to quickly mention an incredibly stunning photo gallery I recently had the pleasure of discovering on flickr. I haven’t seen work this beautifully mastered for some time now. I just finished uploading the photos I took at the Heroes! Villains! show Friday night at the 8th Note Coffee House on the UWM campus. As I said earlier, the lighting was absolutely horrendous, and I didn’t bring my flash (usually don’t use one at shows), but the lighting was so bad that I had no other choice. Couple that with the kit lens not being able to focus for shit in even remotely dark conditions, I shot in manual focus for the first time at a show, which worked surprisingly well. I’ve…

My little brother made a craft project for the four of us for St. Nick’s today, so I made him something in return. I printed it out on matte photo paper and glued it to a piece of cardboard, then in turn cut it out and stuck it in his stocking. Now I pass on the greetings to you. Hope everyone got lots of sweets in their stocking this morning. More to write later.
It’s amazing sometimes how singer’s seem to say everything you’re feeling. I’m not saying the following song by Brand New does just that, but I think it’s a powerful song that has a lot of emotion behind it, and I wanted to share.
I don’t think it’s too often the first post is the best post you make for a while; they usually improve as you post a few more blogs. Instead of just randomly writing most of the time, I’m going to pick things to actually write about.
